Petco joins other companies in offering vaccine incentives

joined other companies Wednesday in announcing incentives for their employees to get COVID-19 vaccines. For each employee who completes a COVID-19 vaccination program, Petco said it will pay them $75 and contribute $25 to a fund for employees experiencing financial hardship. “We strongly encourage all of our over 26,000 partners to get vaccinated as soon as they are eligible,” said Ron Coughlin, Petco chairman and chief executive, in a statement.
