Blockchain ETF, up 50% this year, adds to winning streak


An exchange-traded fund that tracks companies that use the technology underpinning cryptocurrencies jumped 6.6% Tuesday morning, and is up about 50% in the year to date as those usages increasingly find favor with investors and end users. The Amplify Transformational Data Sharing ETF has posted its sharpest gains since late January, in line with the price of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin . As a reminder, in the U.S. there is no Bitcoin ETF, so investors interested in the theme have flocked to Bitcoin-adjacent plays.
